New to the manga? this section has no spoiler!At 17, Yagami Light thought there was nothing more to life beyond studying to eventually become a detective. He's the top student of the nation and has a family any child would ask for. There was nothing else he could want. And he was bored. Then he finds a notebook, claiming in its own writing to be able to kill anyone whose name was written on it. Prank? Sure. That was until the shinigami who once owned the notebook appears, more than proving to him the notebook was for real and he has it all to himself.
